Most people seem to use it for the "layered" look on the hips. I use it for a different reason, and love it.
I'm a 38 Double G, and I hate wearing tank tops under XXL low cut shirts (because there isn't enough chest space in "misses shirts"), especially in 100 degree DC weather with 100% humidity where walking to the mailbox leads to heat exhaustion. I tried a "clip to bra" cami thing, but it stretched across my chest to the point of laughable. I use this instead over my bra.
I can still wear my full coverage minimizer bras (pretty much the only kind available in my size) with the super thick straps and wear my lox cut blouses. Cannot praise this enough, and I was able to buy XXL and it fit perfectly.
Buy these somewhere that doesn't have S&H(like C*V*S)

A month after my baby was born, I really did not want to go and purchase all new clothing. I managed to squeeze into my old jeans but could only zip them half way up. With the trendy top, I am able to wear my old pants comfortably and it is not visible to other people. Trendy top is an awesome invention and its perfect for in between sizes!

I love this!! I wear scrubs at work and having to bend over all the time its not easy to pull your pants up while wearing gloves during patient care!! I also wear them with my jeans. Need more colors though black and white is not enough.

I would have to say that this is definitely a must have item when you are pregnant as well!! For those moms who do not like maternity pants/shorts, these are great!!! When you can still wear your regular clothes, but they just dont button- these cover over the button/zipper area, and makes it look like just an extra shirt underneath your regular shirt. Your able to continue to wear your regular pants/shorts and not have to settle for the unflattering/ unsexy maternity wear!!!

It works just like it is advertised. Adds that extra confidence with low rise jeans and short shirts. I didn't give 5 stars because I wish it was smaller at one end. I think it needs to be tapered more for the excellent fit I am looking for. More colors too!

These are great, I am on the larger side and its hard to find shirts that are longer in length but these work great and they fit perfect and love the length, they even make me look slimmer. I also love the layered look. A+++++++++
